Junior bears
Junior State Cup:
Junior representative players take part in the NSW Junior State Cup held annually in February. Junior State Cup 2025: Friday 20th – Sunday 23rd of February 2025 in Dubbo. Players are selected from within the Norths Junior Comp.
Please note, the club has accomodation currently on hold in both Dubbo and surrounding towns to help our players enjoy the experience together if they wish to stay with the team.
Norths plan to enter teams in the following age groups :
- U10 Girls and Boys
- U12 Girls and Boys
- U14 Girls and Boys
- U16 Girls and Boys
- U18 Girls and Boys
Vawdon Cup:
The Vawdon Cup is a weekly competition conducted throughout the Sydney Metro area catering to Open and Youth division run by NSW Touch.
Norths Expression of interest form is live now and linked below. More information will be shared with those who submit an EOI.
The club anticipates entering a Boys and Girls Youth Team in 2024. Players are to be between the age of 13-16. To note, with weekly games, we encourage a wider squad with selection made weekly based on availability and performance.
Junior players over the age of 16 are eligble for selection in our Mens and Womens opens programs.

| Cubs Academy |
| Norths touch are introducing ‘Cubs Academy’, a development program designed for all young keen Touch Footy players in the Norths area. The program is aimed at players turning 7 this year up through to 13 year olds, who have aspirations of trialling for future representative teams within our Club. The program will help players improve core skills and game structure. Players will develop their Touch Football skills ahead of Representative season/ trials in TERM 3. (Junior State Cup is a tournament in February of each year, where teams compete against other clubs). Teams for Junior State Cup run in double year age groups; 10′,12’s, 14’s, 16’s, 18s boys and girls. The program will be delivered on a weekly basis during school Term 2 , with days and times to be confirmed following this expression of Interest closing, (you will have the opportunity below to indicate which day is your preference). The Program will cost $50 for the school term. Program will be delivered by a number of coaches from our Opens mens and Womens program. |

Vawdon Cup:
Norths enters teams in a number of representative tournaments, including NSW Senior State Cup and Vawdon Cup (Sydney based tournaments).
The Vawdon Cup is a weekly competition conducted throughout the Sydney Metro area catering to Open and Youth division run by NSW Touch. In Vawdon Cup 2024, Bears are on the path to premier league! We aim to enter teams into the following divisions:
– Womens Opens
– Mens Opens
– Mixed Opens

State Cup:
The 2024 State Cup will be held from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th of December 2023 at Port Macquarie.
State Cup field a number of competitive divisions for play including Mens and Womens opens, Senior divisions, Mixed divisions, Under 20s boys and girls as well as All Abilities.

All Abilities
The Bears Touch Footy family continue to welcome all members of the community. The All Abilities Touch Football team is a completely inclusive program that provides opportunities for people of all ages with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. We invite these individuals to learn Touch Football skills as well as play the sport alongside their family members, carers, friends, elite footy players and the wider community.
This program also offers pathways for representative players in the Touch Football’s Inclusive Division competitions at Vawdon Cup, State Cup & National Touch league.
The training details are as follows:
- 5-6pm Wednesdays
